I See You

This piece is from a new verse that's still getting going. In this one, Saraphina was attacked as a child and her left eye severely damaged. It is completely blind now and a milky color. Her right eye was already weak and has grown progressively weaker until it too is almost blind. She lives in a small world and in fear of the outside, happy enough to spend her life working in the restricted sector of the elves' grand library in the capitol. She knows the books and the ways of the library well enough to still work and make a living even with her disability. However, she still needs a little help and is often seen wandering around with mismatching shoes or a shirt mis-buttoned... in need of a friend and a guardian.....

She finds one, a scholar like herself... a lover of knowledge not afraid of her scars or blindness... willing to reach out and touch her, and see her as she sees him... with fingertips and careful caress...
